So we are still in the "180 Days of Change" with F......Uber... They CLAIM that it is to make it BETTER for the DRIVERS... LIES!!!!
Let's see what the changes are so far...
In app tipping... after training everyone Not to tip since 2008, with every lie that they could think of, like "tipping is already included" ... "tipping leads to discrimination" and other BS... ...
Uber did NOT add the "in app tipping" to make it better for us... They HAD to add it because they were violating NY state law and was going to be banned from doing business in the state of NY... that would be a Huge lose for them...
More control over where we work with 6 destination filters for each day that actually works... Now GONE! back to 2 and those 2 are COMPLETELY USELESS!
30 minute timeout on them
50 mile range for them
still can't use them in "airport queues"
doesn't work worth a crap most times
Took our ability to go back and change the rating for a rider away! they also introduced something called "ratings protection" which is yet another Bald Face LIE!
They claim they made "pool rides" better... for WHO??? NOT for Drivers!
Airport rematch at LAX... Worked great for a bit, now not so much... also After they Screwed us on destination filters... Rematch does NOT work at all if you go to LAX with a filter set, it throws you offline and NO rematch... BS
The only thing that they haven't taken away YET is "phone support"... But... it is almost a joke anyways.... still all canned responses and no real help MOST of the time!

Now... IF Uber was serious about "180 Days of Changes" to "make it better for Drivers"... Here is what I would suggest ...
Raise the rates to a decent livable standard... I am thinking on Uber X of $1.50 per mile and $.30 per minute and ANY Wait time beyond 2 minutes should be at $2.00 per minute for wait any waiting longer than 2 minutes (including at any stops) and a $10 minimum fare, except for airports being a $25 minimum fare... this is AFTER Uber's "cut"!
Unlimited Destination Filters, as we should have the say of where we work
Show ALL trip information on the accept screen Before we accept a trip! Including, but not limited to, Name, exact location, rating, number of passengers, amount of luggage and Destination... so that we can make an INFORMED business decision on IF we want to accept the trip.
Pay the SAME for X or Pool!
